MEDICA 2023
Boasting over 4,500 international exhibitors and over 80,000 visitors, MEDICA in Düsseldorf is one of the world’s largest medical B2B trade fairs. At the fair you can discover a vast array of pioneering products and services, ranging from medical imagery, diagnostics, and health IT to orthopaedic technology and medical consumables. There will also be numerous opportunities for presentations and discussions with experts and policymakers in various forums, conferences, and special shows.

State Government of North Rhine-Westphalia
Two joint stands will focus on the latest R&D in the medical technology sector as well as all facets of digital health in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.
The North Rhine-Westphalia state government will have two collective stands at MEDICA 2023, which will be presenting innovative products and services for the future of medicine and the healthcare sector. At the first stand, “Medical tech and research from North Rhine-Westphalia” (Hall 3, Stand C80), there will be representatives from 20 or so companies, start-ups and research institutes as well as regional networks like the cluster Medizin.NRW. The second stand, “Health#digital” (Hall 12, Stand A53), will likewise have around 20 exhibitors, who will be showcasing digital solutions for healthcare, telematics and telemedicine, AI and information security. Both collective stands will have an attractive programme of talks on topical issues in medicine and healthcare, featuring several high-profile speakers. This year both collective stands will be contributing to our vibrant NRW–USA Year with events celebrating our close friendship and cooperation with the USA.

Baden-Württemberg International & BIOPRO Baden-Württemberg
29 established companies and 10 innovative startups represent Baden-Württemberg’s thriving medtech sector, from medical instruments and silicone solutions to the latest industry developments in AI, VR and IoT.
Baden-Württemberg (THE LÄND) is one of the top regions for the healthcare industry: In terms of the number of companies respectively the number of employees, the German Southwest is the largest medical technology, biotechnology and pharmaceutical location in Germany.

Additionally, for the first time there will also be a THE LÄND Corner, located in the MEDICA Start-up Park in hall 12, presenting 10 innovative start-ups. This offer is funded within the campaign "Start-up BW International" of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism Baden-Württemberg.
